Site: | 0.41ha / 1.01ac | |
FAR: | 0.85 | |
Program: | Resilient Mid-Density -Offices, Housing, etc. |
Resilient Architecture is especially driven by the consideration of a large number of factors that impact the building process. (eg. water mitigation, structural & building systems, comfort strategies, circulation, urban context, occupancy, etc.) Our ambition in this project was to not merely react to and resolve these factors, but to celebrate them as a dynamic narrative, explicitly expressing as many factors as possible in central gathering spaces to encourage a vibrant urban culture engaging and energizing the potential of the site as a gateway to future development in South Boston.
